At IPMA-Antwerp your piano journey will be guided by passionate and experienced piano teachers with a shared love for music and education. With a background in both classical performance and music pedagogy we offer personal one-on-one lessons, tailored to the level and goals of each student.
Whether you are a beginner taking your first steps on the piano or an advanced student preparing for entrance exams, you will receive the guidance, structure and inspiration you need. The teaching style combines technical precision with musicality and creativity, in a motivating and stimulating learning environment.

Raphael Becker
Raphael Becker (°1997) is a Belgian/German classical pianist with Bulgarian roots who obtained his master's degree in performing arts with Sergei Edelman at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp. Here he was further developed with chamber music lessons with Polina Leschenko and Lied class with Josef De Beenhouwer. In 2017 Raphael became a laureate of the International Young Talent Music Competition. He has played concerts throughout Europe and Asia in countries such as Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Bulgaria, South Korea and the United Arab Emirates. In addition, Raphael is associated as a young talent with the renowned Flemish chamber music festival "Arte Amanti" where he is a frequent guest. In addition to the stage, Raphael played music for the first season of the series "Knokke Off" by Tom Goris and the short film "CouCou" by Dominique Standaert.

Elisaveta Vasileva
Elisaveta Vasileva was born into a family of musicians in Varna, Bulgaria. She studied piano at the Sofia Conservatory in the piano class of Julia and Konstantin Ganev, both students of the piano pedagogue Heinrich Neuhaus. In 1992, she emigrated to Germany and specialised in piano and chamber music with Prof. Helmut Barth in Freiburg am Breisgau. She graduated with the highest honours in piano and chamber music. This was followed by performances with orchestras in Germany and later in Belgium, where she performed piano concertos by Mendelssohn, Mozart and Beethoven. For many years, she was an accompanist at the Pflüger-Stiftung of violinist Prof. Wolfgang Marschner, an international foundation for young talented violinists in Freiburg. She attended various masterclasses at international level, including with Heinz Kämmerling and Kim Kashkasian. In 1998, Elisaveta moved to Ghent and performed at chamber music concerts organised by Opera Ballet Vlaanderen, among others. She played the piano part in the soundtrack recordings for several Belgian film productions, such as Hop and La Maison Du Canal. She is currently an accompanist and teacher of piano and chamber music at the Buggenhout Academy.
